Debi Bacon, "Carolina Lily in the Round "
Shortly after my sewing bee, The Grateful Threads, was in charge of a raffle quilt, we decided to do a round robin. our raffle design had been a Carolina Lily. I am retiring to South Caroina and have always liked that design, so started my robin with a Carolina Lily block. Margaret Beard, Tara Schneider and Pat Scully all added wonderful, detailed and imaginative borders, making my simple block into a quilt that I will proudly display in my South Carolina house. I machine quilted it on Julia Graves longarm machine and my own Designer 1, using meandering and fill stitches.
